Jose Mourinho's return to management has been agreed ahead of a July start, according to BT Sport.
Broadcaster Matt Smith revealed on Twitter that the former Chelsea manager is expecting to begin his new role for the start of the 2015-16 season, information he divulged off camera when being interviewed.
Mourinho has been strongly linked with a return to the Premier League with Manchester United as Louis van Gaal's struggle for consistent results continues.
The Portuguese has also reportedly already begun scouting for United, with a new central defender, midfielder and 'decisive' striker on his shopping list according to Italian press.
